Hello List,
I have two convicts who married and then have just vanished.On the pioneer index their marriage is given as 3 September 1846 at St Johns Church L'ton, John Canel aged 30, ticket of leave, carpenter, widower, to Matilda Hinshaw ( should be Henshall as her sister Harriet Henshall came out as a convict in 1850 ) aged 18, prisoner, single woman. There is no record of any children or of deaths for them up to 1899.Perhaps some one may be able to suggest where to look.
