Hi,

Am seeking information about the family of the above couple. I would love
to make contact with others who are researching this family and descendants
of their children.

James Batten was born 1846 at Georgtown and married in 1871 at Launceston to
Ellen Matilda Moore. She was born in 1846 at Clarence Plains.

Children were :

1871 - Albert who married Florence Welling
1874 - Leopold Gustavas George
1876 - Alma August who married James Phoenix
1877 - Herbert Lionel
1879 - Ethel Amy who married Thomas Lamerton
1881 - Lewis Francis (my connection)
1882 - Elvie Madeline who married Charles Owens
1885 - Florence Elle who married William Wreford

Any help gratefully appreciated.
