CALWAY convicts (2)

I have William CALWAY who arrived on the "Earl Grey" in 1842 and married
Amy HAWKINS among the families I have been researching. He was an
agricultural labourer from Somerset who was given 10 years for stealing
cheese.
On the "new" microfiche of Tas convicts I found another William CALWAY,
also an agricultural labourer from Somerset who came out on the "Henry
Porcher" in 1836 having been given a life sentence. Their native places
are not too far apart (?). Were they related?
I haven't seen any other information about the 2nd William CALWAY - did
he survive the rigours of convict life? Where to from here? Any
advice?
regards Patricia in Sydney
