Hi

I am looking for any information on William BRYANT (18??-1890). He
married Mary JOHNSTON/E at the Wesleyan Chapel, Patterson St. Launceston
on June 22, 1858. Mary was the daughter of John JOHNSTON/E and Mary Ann
LETHABY/LITHABY/LETHBY.

I have no idea why or how William arrived in Tasmania. His birth date
calculated from his death record, would have been 1821, but by marriage
record would have been 1828. Another researcher gives a date of 1818,
but not where the information came from.

William and Mary had 12 children,and worked during these years at
Entally House in Hadspen as a stableman, and the family lived in and
around Hadspen, with most of the children being christened in the
Hadspen and Carrick churches.

He and his family later moved to Scottsdale - I have no idea which year,
but it was after the last child was born in 1883. He died in Scottsdale
in 1890.

An information on William or Mary would be greatly appreciated.
