I am trying to trace Henry Lipscombe (born 1791) who came from England
and was probably one of the early settlers on the Swan River WA in
1830.
He had two brothers, Frederick (born 1808) and Edward (born 1816). The
brothers settled in Hobart in the early 1830's. Frederick is known to
have started the fruit industry in Tasmania but Henry and Edward also
joined him in this venture.
Henry had two sons who died young and a daughter, Jane who was born in
Fulham UK in 1825. she married Henry William LACEY in 1847.
any information on this family would be greatly appreciated.
