Many thanks to all those kind people who replied to my query regarding the
White Star to
Tasmania.
It would appear that the ship did terminate its voyage in Melbourne, and the
McPHERSON
family then travelled by the boat "City of Hobart" to Hobart Town.

If it were not for this entry on only one page of the passenger list I would
still be under the impression that the White Start took the balance of
passengers to Tasmania.
