Hello Elva
According to Charles Bateson's book "The Convict Ships", there were
two convict ships named "Layton". "Layton II" made three voyages to
Van Diemen's Land, arriving on 10 December 1835 at the end of her
first voyage, on 7 December 1839 after her second and on 1 September
1841 after her third voyage.
Bateson says the "Greenlaw" arrived on 2 July 1844.
Happy hunting
Ruth in Hobart
