If my memory serves me correctly I think Pittwater was near Sorrell (the
causeway?) I have it in a book somewhere but can't place my hands on it
at the moment but I know it was definitely Sorrell Richmond area.

Have a James FOSTER convict number 4744
Tried Sussex Ass. 22 March 1841
Married in the Franklin Village Chapel to Ann Griffin (Prisoner) on June
24, 1851
He was a Ticket of Leave, granted19/11/1850
Also looks like that he was at Pittswater, is or was there such a place
in Tas?
We think that their daughter was Harriet and was married to Henry
(Harry) PERRY at Skelbrook,
Sassafras, 14 April 1869.
Need confirmation :-) !!
Where is the Franklin Village Chapel?
Is any body researching this Foster family?
