Dear Meryl,
I'm awfully sorry if my queries about Captain William Lawrence have spilled
over to include N.S.W. I must admit that I didn't give a lot of thought to
the area of research with the line if enquiry that I was following. I must
apologize for this.
However, on the brighter side, it appears that yours was the ideal site on
which make such a query for, as Captain Lawrence was a well-known Tasmanian
identity - or should be by now - the response was enormous and most
fruitful.
Thank you for providing such a wonderful tool for us to share our
information. It's people like you who have made a great contribution to
the growth of Tasmanian historical knowledge.
I, for one, really appreciate the service that you provide!!!!!!
