I searched the database > http://www.awm.gov.au/database/ using the old
principle of 'start with the known' yet lo and behold neither my great
grandfather David Vernon MOIR nor my great uncle John Joseph BURKE are
included - yet I have a copy of their service details - both enlisting in
Tassie in 1915 and neither returning till 1920.

Are Tasmanians on this database or is it just one of those amazing flukes?
