Dear Max,

The only town that I know of that starts with Z, now or then, is ZEEHAN on
the west coast. Bothwell is in the "centre" on an adjoining main road. My
"old towns" list does not list anything with a Z or Montacute (which is
familiar) . Montacute may be a property name.

Hopefully there is another Taswegian out there who knows better>
