Hi Lyn,

Have you tried writing direct to the Research Department of the Mitchell
Library? I live 2,000 klms from Sydney and wrote to the Research Dept of
the Mitchell Library with an enquiry and received in reply (from the State
Library of New South Wales - they are tied in together) a large envelope
filled with photostat documents. There was no charge. I believe their
Research Department will do a limited amount of free research for people who
are unable to visit the Mitchell Library but this may have changed.
However, it may be worth a try. Last year the internet address of the
State Library of NSW was . The address of both
the State Library of NSW and Mitchell Library is Macquarie St, Sydney, NSW,
2000, Australia.
