Hi,

I'm new to this list and am hoping some kind Tasmanian will take pity on me
and provide a few suggestions as to where I should look for one of my
strays.

I am interested in contacting the descendants of Alexander Moir YOUNG, born
Dun, near Montrose, Angus, Scotland circa 1880, illegitimate son of
Elizabeth YOUNG. He came, time unknown, to settle in Tasmania in Evandale.
I've just obtained his army records and the address given is "Logan"
Evandale and the wife's name was Fanny Eliza. A bit more digging revealed
the wife was Fanny Eliza SQUIRES and they married in 1912. At the time he
enlisted they had two kids but nothing more is known about them or this
family.

I have amassed a great deal of info over the years about the ancestors of
this man and would dearly love to make contact with this branch of the
family. Can anyone suggest avenues I might be able to tackle from WA in
order to track down this particular family? I'm also willing to do some
reciprocal research!

Many thanks,

Robyn.
