I was speaking with an official officer of the Aust Census Bureau earlier
this week and informed him of some concern regarding keeping the records and
the question to be answered on the form on August 7.
(This I have noticed on a lot of NG messages to Save of Census)

His answer was that he did not think his Brisbane office was aware of the
concern coming from the Genealogy section which I found very hard to
swallow. He stated that the Bureau was concerned with confidentiality and
that in the past all forms were destroyed and he pointed out the British
situation that had every detail available on the last Census, and did not
think people would want that. (I did not know this was correct )

Does anyone know how the question would be put in the form or what we can do
to gain more knowledge of this, and what can we do to bring it to more
peoples notice with confidence of confidentiality?
