Hi Listers
Can someone inform me the age where a minor became an adult on a wedding
certificate? I have the marriage of Catherine INNS minor to John Ellis
minor in Tas 1882, unfortunately Catherine doesn't seem to have been
registered at birth.

Does anyone know of an adoption papers register before 1900 or just after?
They, the above, adopted 2 children Rose and Ernest. Ernest was in St
John's Park and had disabilities, but they were not too bad.

One last question related to convicts this time, I have a marriage of
William Sutcliffe and Ann Kerr, under Rank his has TL (ticket of leave) her
rank is P.H. What is P.H ? She was also a convict and would not have
finished her sentence. They were married at New Norfolk in the Catholic
Church Feb 23 1851, the minister's name looks like W O Woolper.
