Thanks to everyone that gave information as to where I can purchase his
diaries, I have put in an order with Astrolabe Books in the hope that a
copy will turn up. In the meantime I have purchased what looks like a
wonderful book on David Collins the first Lt Governor of Tasmania - I
should
never venture into their catalogue section on their website, as I know it
will cost me dearly!!
