Hi Researchers,

I am researching the Smith Family.(from Brisbane but ex Taswegian) No,
seriously. Robert Smith arrived in Tasmania in 1855 on the "Storm Cloud" .
On the same ship was the Mather family. Robert married Catherine in 1856
and they eventually settled in Riana, Penguin district. Catherine's sister
Grace also married a William Varnham Smith (no relation) but the two
families did cross over at various points in marriages
Robert and Catherine had the following children
Christian Rutherford b 1860 m. Henry Good
Agnes Smith b 1862 at Westbury m. James Barnes 1882
Robert Junior b . 1865 m Emma Yaxley 1887 in Emu Bay
William Mather b. 1867 Port Sorell m. Grace Smith 1892 in Ulverstone
Charles b. 1870 Port Sorell m. Adele Fleetwood - we think they became
Fleetwood-Smith
Alexander b. 1873 m. Lillias May Dobson 1898 in Emu Bay
John Rutherford b. 6 June 1875 m Florence Louisa Clarke (born in Leeds
1881)1903 in Riana (This is our line)

I am also looking for the Clarke Family - Stephen and his wife Louisa
travelled to Australia in 1883 with chn. Albert, George, Walter and brother
Charles. Later he had Florence, Mary Caroline b 1886, Emily Bertha b. 1888,
Charles Haddon b. 1896 m. Vida Scott.

Can anyone help me with information on these siblings of John Rutherford and
Florence Louisa Clarke
