Hi Andrea

Do you know where your LARKINS settled?

I have a George Larkins (b. abt 1806, d. 7 Mar 1876 at Bothwell, Tas).
I believe he was a convict, but I have little info to support that yet,
nor his place of origin.

George Larkins built Bothwell's first brewery, the Clyde in 1836, and
closed it in 1839 when he bought the Bothwell brewery, which he owned
until 1859. (The Bothwell Brewery subsequently passed to George's
son-in-law Robert Whiteway (who married Mary Ann Larkins) and then
Whiteway's son-in-law Isaac Blake, my gggrandfather.)

I also have a bunch of CLARKs from the Franklin and Bothwell districts,
mid 1800s onwards.

Any sound familiar?
