Dear Sandra,
from my knowledge of the area, less memory loss!!
There are 3 beaches from east of East Devonport to the mouth of the Rubicon
river on which Port Sorrell is situated , Pardoe beach, Baldocks beach in
which Devonport airport is behind and Morelands beach on which the community
of Northdown is south of ?? any listers can correct if incorrect!!

> Does anyone know where the property of "Moorelands" is in Tasmania - near
Port Sorrell? My ancestor Mary Ann Jessop's sister Maria and John Moore
lived there and wondering if it was a big property, name of estate or just
where they lived. Am looking for my gg grandfather - either John Robson,
John Robinson or Thomas Robinson - John Robson was a whaler with the Henty
Brothers in Portland. NO known birth or death. I know that Captain George
Robson was married for the second time at "Moorelands" and his son Edmund
lived there for a time (at the same time that Maria lived there) and
wondered if there was any connection with George's son John.

other information.
