Dear Leonie, I looked up the death of John Pearce of 16 June 1875 burial in
the Mercury, dated Mon June 14, 1875, he died at his residence of Upper
Macquarie St on 12th June 1875 and had funeral on Wed 16th instand at 2 PM,
he is stated late of Sorell aged 79 years, dont know if this helps, he is
not in either TAMIOTT and not yet searched Cornelian Bay as the library
hasnt this, will try the archives, but noticed this new entry so thought I
would give you this first.
