Dear listers
I have a couple of queries and I'm hoping SKS will help out an enthusiatic beginner!!!
1. How can I find out when/where/why/if etc someone changed their surname? I have a person born in Tasmania with one name and dying in Vic with another. Christian names are the same - just the surname is changed.
2. Also, this person supposedly moved to Victoria when he was 25 years old (so around the late 1890's). Are there records anywhere that would substantiate this claim.
