Hi everyone,

I have a marriage certificate from 1854, for John Henry READ and Elizabeth Ann BENNETT - ceremony performed at the Independent Chapel, Launceston.

Do any of you know whether original records still exist from this church, and whether I might learn anything more about these two people from the original records? The certificate I have lists only their names, occupations and approximate ages (the man's age is given as "full age" !!).

I'm having trouble narrowing down the year of birth of John Henry READ, as every certificate I have for him and many of his children, give a different year of birth for him !! Very frustrating!!
