Hullo all,
I am new to the list and was wondering if anyone could help me with my McGregor ancestry.

James McGregor, born abt 1805, Scotland, married Margaret Peacock, at Selkirk, 1830. Had children David, Jane[or Jean], Joseph and Robert. James was a cabinet maker. They emmigrated to somewhere in Australia in the 1840s, or early 1850s. I would be grateful if SKS could perhaps look up to see if they are on a census in Tasmania, or may have noticed their names on a shipping passenger list. Also, if there is a Margaret McGregor death notice anywhere. I have tried S.A and VIC with no luck, and as many Scottish migrants went to Tas. I am hoping that I may track them down there.
