Hi all,
Was wondering if anyone could help me out - I'm endeavouring to find any info on Havelock McBlann Ashton married Harriette Race Allison on 15 April, 1895, East Melbourne, Victoria. Havelock was born in England about 1871, and his occupation was "Artist".
Harriette had previously been married to George Gatenby Fletcher - they married 22 December 1890 in Sydney.
Harriette & Havelock's marriage certificate details that Harriette had been a widow since 1891.
My quandry is that I have been unable to find either death details for George Gatenby Fletcher or death details for either Harriette or Havelock Ashton on either the Victorian or NSW BDM sites - nor have I been able to find out if Harriette & Havelock had any children.
Its possible they moved back to Tasmania - Harriette's birth place - or they may have gone to New Zealand.
Any assistance would be most appreciated.
