Hi,

posting again. thought I would look for the families of James
BUTLERs children. James was my 2xggrandfather and was
born c1812 in Stow-cum-Quy, Cambridge.
I think I have found James' parents in Cambridge, just waiting for
the parish registers to arrive.

His children below all ended up in Tas:

James BUTLER b1846 in Quy, Cambridge (have nothing on James)

Ann(e) BUTLER b1849 in Chesterton, Cambridge. (have nothing on Ann)

John BUTLER b1851 in Quy, Cambridge (know a bit about John)

Charles BUTLER b1858 in Hobart, Tas. (have children for Charles)

Frederick BUTLER b1852 in Hobart, Tas (ggrandfather)

Thomas GRAINGER b1838 in London. Stepson (have children for Thomas)

William GRAINGER b1840 in London. Stepson (have nothing on William)

I don't have anything on these people other than some of their children
and / or wives/husbands.
I would love to know where the rest of the family ended up. Charles had
12 children and Frederick had 15 from two marriages, so there must be
some other BUTLERs running around somewhere in Tas. Thomas
GRAINGER his stepson had 9 children as well, so there should be quite
a few half cousins there too.
