Hi,

My name is Kim Davis and I am 44 years old, living in Townsville, North Queensland. I have one son and am totally addicted to genealogy.

I joined the list after the death of my father in 2001 to research his family. As he was raised in a boys home, he had no knowledge of his family at all.

I am researching the name John McGregor who married Charlotte Hague in 1886. She was born in Hobart and John was born in Paisley, Scotland. They had two children, Alexander born in 1886 and Mary Ann in 1887. I have managed to track Alexander, but have not found a single item on Mary Ann other than her birth in Hobart. I do not know when John arrived in Tasmania. After Charlotte's accidental death in 1887 he remarried Selina Lavinia Smith in 1888. Around 1890 to 1891 John, Selina and Alexander moved to Sydney.

I would love to know more information about Charlotte, about Mary Ann and how/when John arrived in Tasmania.

I too love reading other listers stories through this roll call.
