Hi Pam,

My great great grandfather was Patrick VALLELY, he came to Australia
in 1863 with his wife SARAH DALEY and two of his seven children JAMES
(my great grandfather), and HELENA. I don't know if there is a
connection, only the name is not common and I thought it might be a
chance! The other siblings were,MARY, ELIZABETH, THOMAS, PATRICK and
another I can't remember. Sometime during James' life the spelling
was changed to VELLELEY.
