Hi everyone

I have loved the roll call, and think it is a really great idea.

My name is Gail Guckert, I am forty- eight years old and the mother of three grown up children. I have been messing about in genealogy for about twenty years as time permits.

My tasmanian connection is thru my great- grandmother.
Her name was HARRIETT MARIA JACOBSON, and I believe her father to be Jacob JACOBSON. I can find no record of her birth, or marriage to George Edgar Pyett MORTON.
My grandfather, Cecil Mervyn MORTON was apparently born
in Launceston in 1903 and they moved to New Zealand when he was a mall boy. This has been my brick wall for some time so would love to hear from anyone who hascome across Harriet Maria in their family.
Keep up the good work Meryl, this is an interesting list to be part of.
