Thanks Clorice, I would be most grateful if you could do that. I have
hit a brick wall with my great grandfather John Valentine Lowe and his
brother James Samuel Lowe. Parents of these two are listed as 'unknown'
on various certificates, but state these two were born in Hobart Town
but I cant find any birth records. So I'm thinking maybe they were
adopted as 'Lowe' later on.
John Valentine Lowe was born between 1824 and 1829, James Samuel Lowe
was born in 1827. A few people have found records birth records they
might fit these two saying that their surnames may have been 'Cobb' or
'Conway' with a mother Johanna or Hanna.
