I know of 3 Cascades at that time:

The Brewery in Hobart in the suburb now called Cascades, at the foothills of
Mount Wellington.
The female factory. For an image see:

ale+Factory+(Hobart%2C+Tas.)
The probation station on the Tasman peninsula. See:

My gg grand father was a brewer at the Cascades Brewery and his first
daughter was born there in 1861. I would love more information on the early
days of the brewery.

Hello List,
Does anyone know where Cascades is or was in Tasmania in 1851? It appears on
a birth certificate as a place of residence for an informant.
