This may jog other peoples' memories who may be able to add more
information.
A place called "Millbrook Rise" on the Main Road, just before the New
Norfolk town boundary, also used to be called a "Sanitorium". As I
understand it, people who had a "nervous breakdown" or similar were admitted
for a "rest". (People always spoke about it in front of children in
"inverted commas".) It was a separate entity from the New Norfolk Asylum
proper.
