Hello everyone,
Several years ago I read somewhere that in 1836 three men spent 2
years in gaol in Launceston awaiting trial. Stupidly I didn't write down the
source. I've just come across the claim again in Beverley Heathcote's 'A walk
through Launceston's history'.
Has anyone on the list ever come across this? I wonder who the men were.
Thanks for any suggestions,
Christopher
