No more on the convict letter to the list, thank you.

There are some points that I would like listers to take into consideration
when posting information to the list.

1. copyright - you need to determine if the information is copyright......
if the information is copyright to someone else you need to obtain
permission from the copyright holder and acknowledge this permission.

2. source - you should quote the source of information. This is important
in all areas of research, including the compiling of family trees.

In the instance of the convict letter the person who originally posted it to
the County Tipperary list does not disclose the source of the information or
give any clue as to who, if anyone, owns the copyright to this information.
The lister who has passed the information on to this list has rightly asked
permission from the original poster to resend the information to this list.
If there is an issue with the message it needs to be taken up with the
original poster of the information and then followed on if necessary.
