Hi List

I was reading your correspondence about Ann Clark. I noticed she was on the
Col Sec Papers as proceeding to the Derwent on the Prince Leopold. My
ancestors were also on both those lists (Thomas Aldgate, his wife and 2
children) but they did not go to Tasmania on that ship. They eventually
went on the Glory of Richmond on the 29 October 1819. They also had 3
children but only took the 2 youngest with them although the other child did
get married in Tasmania in 1824. I have never found a reason why they
didn't go to Tas on the Prince Leopold. I thought you might be interested
in knowing that not all those mentioned on the list went to Tasmania on that
brig.
