Karl von Stieglitz' book "A Short History of Ross" talks a bit about
"Ellenthorpe", and abouts original owner George Carr Clark and its later
owners, the Brown family. Not sure who ownes or lives at "Ellinthorp Hall"
now, but as far as I know the Dowlings are still owners of "Ellenthorpe".

The short booklet "Education at Ross" written by my mother (Wendy Burbury)
also gives a brief mention to the school at "Ellinthorp Hall".
