Thanks Judy.

I am descended from the Hills (with an 's') family - Henry Hills and his
wife Elizabeth (nee Young), and 10 of their children Harriett, Hanna,
Henry, William, John, Catherine, Helen, Esther, Frank & Eliza arrived in
Tasmania in the early 1830's, as did Henry's brother, George Hills, with his
wife Mary Ann (nee Birch) together with their two children George & Mary
Ann.

The Hills family had connections with both 'Red Hills' (now 'Landfall') and
'Alanvale' farms, situated on the East Bank of the Tamar River.

They have many descendants both in Tasmania and elsewhere. I would love to
hear from anyone else who may be connected to, or have a research interest
in this family - that's "Hills", definitely with an 's'.

Kind regards,
Denise
