Hi Joan
Yes, it's a great research tool - but beware as the new CD does not contain the
Government Gazette information as does the microfiche. I believe that the
Government Gazette information will be available on a separate CD.... sometime
in the future.

Hi Jenny
I think the AGCI Index is a great tool. We have it at our FH library and
I search it regularly. Found my husband's g grandfather coming into Oz as
an unassisted passenger and had been looking for about 15 years until this
index. Has lots of Govt. Gazette announcements...shipping, convict and
cemetery info.
Regards.....Joan in NSW

Index 1790-2002 if so is it a worthy research item.
