Dear Rosemary,
I would certainly be interested in your "A cargo
of child convicts" book. There was a project at Port Arthur some years ago
and we researched the boys who came on six of the ships and were sent to
Point Puer. This research was later made into a booklet and disk for
schools. It was done on an apple and I was never able to get a copy
transferred on to a disk I could use, so your book would be of interesting
to me.

Could you also contact me as to your convict who retired to Glenorchy. I am
working on a project for the district of Chigwell and looking for
interesting people who once lived there. Hopefully I will be publishing
short stories of the past and present residents by the end of the year. Its
mostly on Chigwell so if there is anyone else out there who has a story
please contact me.
