Hi Everyone,

I'm new to the list, my name is Mandy Jones, I live on the north west coast of Tassie, and have been doing family history for 3 months. In that time I have gone from knowing only the names of my great-grandparents on my mother's side, to having a collection of over 3000 names in my Family Forest, including 16 convicts (so far). It's wonderful, and I've been well and truly bitten by the Genealogy Bug!

I have a recently updated tree at www.gencircles.com/users/dragonfly58 and a personal homepage at http://home.iprimus.com.au/dragonfly58. I'm more than happy to share my resources and help in any way I possibly can with research.

Most of my ancestors are from the Hobart, Oatlands and New Norfolk area. I grew up in Hobart but have lived most of my life in the lovely north-west. The main names in my direct ancestry are:

Palmer (2 sets here, totally unrelated but both from the Midlands area)
