Judy,

The Immigration Deposit Journals (1853-1900) are available on microfilm at
NSW State Records ( Series CGS5264, Reels 2668A-2676 ) and a Pastkey index
to them is also available on microfiche 1853-1900 and Supplement 1856-1857
( Fiche 5246-5265;5915-5918).

Apart from convict applications to bring out families I don't know of any
other index which would trace Irish immigrants back to native place. The
ship's passenger lists I have seen indicate County but not , Townland,
Parish etc.

Perhaps someone out there has more information.

Regards,
Yvonne
