Join the club.
I have been searching many years for my g/father John WILLIAMS
b.c. 1831 in Cape of Good Hope. I have no idea how he got to Australia
- first recorded on the Goldfields after marrying a widow Mary Ann DAVIES
from Tasmania. I have often wondered if he came via Tasmania.
And yes, he was my g/father - my father was born in 1882 and my mother
is still alive aged 78. Not too many people today can say their
husband was born in 1882!
