Thanks to all who replied.
If Colliers Point was near Woodlawn Jetty it was some distance from the
Smith propertywhich in 1825 was bounded on the south side by a grant ti W
Kneal on the east side by unlocated land , on the north side by unlocated
land and on the east side by a bay called Swan Bay on the river Tamar..
Probably this block was absorbed into the Woodlawn property during David
Medwin's time.
Tracing Woodlawn owners back from David Medwin in 1892- Richard King
Washbourn in 1885 - Thomas Youl in 1882 - John McCall in 1881 - Thomas B
Bartley in 1876.unfortunately I ran out of time at this stage . Early maps
show the names De Little and Douglas as owners.
