Sorry I have taken so long to get back to you. I have been away on holidays.
We went to the library on Monday and searched for your Thomas McSweeney and
Mary nee Gillespie but with no luck I'm afraid.

There are no children born to a woman with the maiden name Gillespie
There are no children born to parents whose Christian names are Thomas &
Mary
there are eight children born to a Patrick McSweeny and Mary Fitzgerald.

There is no marrige of a Thomas Mcsweeney here from 1842-1916
There are no men with the surname McSweeney on our passenger lists of ships
coming from overseas.
