The person who posted the message about the VIC Surnames Forum is rude,
ignorant, and a series of other names I won't repeat in public.

She has spammed all Australian Mailing Lists ignoring all guidelines and
does NOT deserve the support of family and local historians. All she has
done is create a huge amount of email which many of us will see repeatedly
if we're subbed to different lists, and created additional work for List
Admins.

Needless to say she has been blackbanned from the lists I admin and will
need some awfully good explanations and apologies before she is accepted on
any Australian Mailing Lists.

The odd transgression can often be forgiven but out and out spam such as
this is NOT ON!

For all normal polite friendly members on this list - this isn't aimed at
you, but something to think about for all members on why we try to keep
people on-topic and not flooded with off-topic messages for our region.

Now I'll count to 20 again and get off my soap box, but this sort of
behaviour is really frustrating, annoying and time-consuming.

There - now I feel a little better! <vbg>
