Hi to everyone on the list,

This is my first posting to this list. I am researching my BASSETT ancestors who immigrated to Aust. in 1852.
They settled in the Geelong area, I don't know where.

Could sks do a lookup for me:

Thomas BASSETT born about 1825
and wife Harriet nee BOLTON. born about 1826

They had two children with them,

Henry BASSETT aged 4
Hannah BASSETT aged 2.

I am a descendant of their son Alfred who was born at Geelong in 1858.

I am trying to find out where they immigrated from. I do not know the country of their origin. I am hoping that it is included on their death certs, or if Henry and Hannah married, on their marraige certs.

I hope someone could do the lookup for me and if their are any descendents out there of Thomas and Harriet please get in touch with me.
