DESCRIPTION Anchors fixed in rocks visible from the shore. The barque
Marie Gabrielle was wrecked on 25 November 1869 when it struck
a reef here in a storm. All hands were saved.

DESCRIPTION White marble seated statue of Albert Edward (King Edward VII)
as Prince of Wales, designed by Charles Summers. This is a
companion statue to that of Princess Alexandra at the Shire
Offices, Alexandra.
