SERIES A small collection of postal history items relating to
the Australian colonial mails, 1829-1860s. Included are
Van Diemen's Land postmaster's receipt, Hobart, 1829,
entire and part letters posted at Sydney in the 1830s and
Geelong in 1849, a goldfields cover from Back Creek,
1859, part letters relating to ships mails and postal
stationery items from the 1860s (c50 items).
