Hello.
Im hoping that someone may be able to steer me in the
right direction on the following.
I have come to a hault for the last year on John
McCracken and his wife Margaret nee Crosson.
The last know where abouts of them was at Batesford,
when William Thomas McCracken was born (Mary Ann was
born 1865, David 1868, James Henry 1870).
Family history say's that John was a bridge builder,
and all documents that I have, state him as a
"contracter". Is there any place that may have info
on bridges built in the area in this time span. I have
looked for a death for John and Margaret, but have
been unable to come up with anything.
Any help in this matter would be greatfully
appreciated.
Many Thanks
Leighanne
