Hi there

This is my first posting to this list. My Geelong connections come in the form of the DOIG family. A lot has been written and researched about this family before this particular branch emigrated to Australia and New Zealand, but very little after. My Geelong DOIGs consist of:

William DOIG (b. 28/10/1851 in Fife, SCO), m .Margaret DOIG (also from Fife) m. 9/10/1857 in Geelong. I am unsure as to when they emigrated.

William and Margaret had 8 children, all of whom we believe to have been born in Geelong: Mitchell 1858, Michael 1859, Alexander 1860, William Watson 1862, William 1864, Euphemia Martin 1868, Margaret Watson 1871, & James Martin 1876. The only extensions of this line of DOIGs we have are that Mitchell DOIG married Henrietta McKEDDIE in Geelong in 1884, and they had 4 children, and Margaret Watson DOIG who married Joseph Mitchell ORR in Geelong in 1898, to whom she had 5 children.

Any assistance with these residents of Geelong would be most appreciated.
