Hi all
I am trying to sort out which if any of the deaths in the Geelong area
belong to "my" Joseph Shaw.
I have noted one in 1855 in the probate index-death or place of abode was
Mt Hesse. When I checked the inquest index, I found this man had committed
suicide by hanging, was an adult, and lived at Geelong. I cannot find his
details on the Vic Death index.
My questions is "is he buried at Geelong East, and if so, are there any
further details, or should I get my brother to go to the PRO for the
inquest details in case anything turns up there?"
I would like to know his age, and place of birth in particular. These two
facts would enable me to say whether he is mine or not.
Thanks for any advice.
Regards
Leonie
